Warranty Policy

1 Year warranty on repairs

1. Repair Services Warranty

1.1 Coverage: 30 Minutes Fix ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to providing high-quality repair services using top-quality spare parts. We offer a One Year Warranty on all repair services performed by our technicians. This warranty covers the labor cost and the spare parts used during the repair.

1.2 Spare Parts: We source our spare parts exclusively from reputable Australian suppliers, giving us a competitive advantage in terms of quality and reliability. If any replaced spare part, used in the repair of your device, fails to function within the warranty period due to defects in materials or workmanship (excluding any external force or damage), it will be covered under this warranty.

2. Warranty Exclusions

2.1 Accidental Damage: The warranty does not cover any subsequent accidental damage to your device after we have completed the repair. This includes, but is not limited to, physical damage caused by dropping the device or applying undue pressure or force due to mishandling.

2.2 Water/Liquid Damage: The warranty does not cover any damage caused by water or other liquids after your device has been repaired.

2.3 Software Issues: Any software-related issues are not covered by this warranty. We recommend ensuring your device's software is up-to-date before bringing it in for repair.

2.4 Non-Related Faults: The warranty does not cover faults that are unrelated to the original repair performed by 30 Minutes Fix. For example, if we replaced the charging port, the warranty would not cover a faulty power button.

2.5 Data Loss: We strongly advise backing up your device before initiating any repair. The warranty does not cover data loss.

2.6 Third-Party Repair or Inspection: The warranty becomes void if the repaired device is serviced or inspected by a third party during the warranty period.

2.7 Pre-Existing Issues: Any issues or problems that were evident prior to the original repair are not covered by the warranty.

2.8 Unverified Features: If we were unable to verify certain phone features or functions as fully operational prior to our repair (e.g., due to a discharged battery or a locked device), any issues related to those features are not covered.

2.9 Jailbroken Devices: Devices that have been jailbroken are not covered by this warranty.

2.10 Home Button/Biometric Scanner: The warranty does not cover non-working, damaged, or severed home buttons, biometric scanners (e.g., touchID or faceID).

2.11 Battery Warranty: Batteries are considered consumable items and are not covered under the 1-year warranty. However, we provide a 6-month warranty on battery replacements.

3. Warranty Claim Process

3.1 To initiate a warranty claim, please contact us at [insert contact information] within the warranty period.

3.2 Proof of purchase, repair invoice, or warranty certificate may be required for warranty claims.

3.3 Warranty claims will be subject to inspection and verification by our technicians.

4. Warranty Transferability

4.1 This warranty is non-transferable and only applies to the original repair and the original customer.

5. Limitation of Liability

5.1 Our liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of any defective parts or services covered by the warranty, at our discretion.

5.2 In no event shall 30 Minutes Fix be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages.

6. Changes to Warranty Policy

6.1 We reserve the right to update, modify, or change this warranty policy at our discretion. Any such changes will be communicated to customers through our website or other means.

Our warranty covers any manufacturing faults that may occur with your device. Please note: This does not cover any damage that is caused by mishandled use or liquid damage. Unauthorised third party repairs will void your warranty.

The length of the basic warranty period on any Refurbished Device is 6 Months from the purchase date of the device.

Extra Care - 6 Months EXTENDED WARRANTY 

30 Minutes Fix Extra Care - EXTENDED WARRANTY offers an additional 6 months of warranty coverage on your purchased device. The extended warranty period offers the same coverage as our standard warranty, but for an additional 6 months so you can have peace of mind knowing that you are covered. To purchase an extended warranty, simply add 30 Minutes Fix Extra Care while purchasing your device, it's that easy!

Note*- Extra Care - EXTENDED WARRANTY can only be purchased and be applicable if bought together with the device at the same time or before dispatch from our warehouse.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED? 

   • Normal wear and tear of product use
   • Misuse, lack of care, mishandling, and any accident that is not covered under the warranty
   • Usage of product other than for its intended purpose
   • Damage caused by improper or unauthorised repair or maintenance
   • Product that has been modified or altered
 

Faulty Goods – within 30 days from day of dispatch

In instances where goods are faulty on arrival, customers have 30 calendar days within which a complaint needs to be logged via a return form for either a refund/exchange. In instances where no complaint has been submitted and the time frame exceeded, returns will only be processed under the terms of the Manufacturers’ Warranty (See below).

We recommend using a postal service that provides proof of delivery and has compensation insurance for lost or damaged goods, as returns are NOT our responsibility until they are back in our possession.

Goods should be returned with their original packaging, complete with all accessories and documentation. Once the fault has been identified and verified, 30 Minutes Fix will authorise a replacement or a full refund to you, the customer via the original payment method.
 

Please note that returns that have exceeded the 30 calendar day period can ONLY be replaced. No refunds can be claimed due to the time lapse.

Hardware/Manufacturer Warranty Guide

All products purchased directly from 30 Minutes Fix are covered by a one-year manufacturer warranty cover. Please visit the designated website for the chosen brand / product for the relevant warranty policy. Products returned after 30 calendar days will be processed according to the manufacturers’ warranty cover and will be shipped directly to the manufacturer for a replacement to be issued.
